there's a very interesting new JOY DIVISION release: Martin Hannett's Personal Mixes.

The recordings give an insight into Hannett's production ideas & his relationship with the band,
includes studio chit chat & interplay between Hannett, Rob Gretton & Joy Division as Martin left his own tape machine running throughout studio sessions,
there are alternative mixes that were Martin's favourites & he had the forethought to get the
band members to give him control of these recordings and includes alternative mixes of some songs.

Gut beobachtet. Der Typ hat jetzt die "normalen" Promos bei Ebay...

Habe gestern die CD bekommen und bin ziemlich begeistert - zum Teil wirklich andere Versionen der Songs und die Sounds bzw. Geräusche sind auch recht interessant! Vor allem die zwei Versionen von "The Eternal" am Ende der CD ziehen einen ganz schön runter und da kann man sich schon mal auf nächsten Freitag so richtig einstimmen
